I have reached the top at last. At the "Schwarzen Kreuz" located high above Altenahr. Here a view towards Altenborg on the left and upstream of the Ahr. A Caravan Park down below in the foreground. On the right the freedway spans across the valley. The bench where I contemplated yesterday is on the right just out off the picture, next to and on this side of the freeway.
