When at Leiden University Maarten ("Hauk") Fischer and I were best friends. Both Geology students and cockswains for the Student Rowing Club Njord we were inseparable especially during the early years when we were known as Fisch and Furst. Seeing him again after many many years virtually nothing has changed as we stillremain the best of friends.
