While still a student in Leiden, Antien and I were alerted to a lovely restaurant in Molenstraat, Den Haag, called (after its chef owner) "Chez Bob". Bob did all the cooking and old opaatje served up the meals. It was frequented by in the know students and many Parliamentarians. Especially when Antien and I moved to Den Haag in 1963 we used to eat there at least once a week.
The restaurant is still there, but now under a different owner and different name. Bob used to have a lovely carrousel horse standing on the bar. That too has gone now.
