Dea Mulder, then a recent graduate from the Goldsmith School in Schoonhoven (Holland) started her carreer as a goldsmith with Atelier Martinshof in the early 1950s. She was of course much inspired by her illustrious colleagues Maud Smit and Eweg but made some nice work herself.
