Renown Dutch choreogrpher Hans van Manen displays a choreographic language which is stunning in its variety of human forms and movements.
Hans was a conpemporary of my one time ballet danser girl friend Ariette Taylor (then van Rossum) and I may have met him (in the late 1950s) at a party held after a Première of one of the Dutch ballet groups.

I took this photo of a TV screen when a several of van Manen's (21th century) works, executed by three different Dutch ballet groups, were shown on German TV (July 2012).
