Common on inshore and offshore reefs, estuaries , around mangroves, rocky outcrops and headlands

Heavy handlines or barra tackle
Squid, pilchards and fish strip baits on reefs. In esuaries use barra lures
Hooks 4/0 to 6/0 ofshore, No.2 to 4/0 inshore
Maximum Personal limit
3 per person
Not suitable for catch and release in water 15m+ in depth, susceptible to barotrauma
