An expert player will play here the 6♠ !     Why ?
North made the standard lead from ♠ K Q 10 x (x) and needs to know whether South holds the J♠ or not. If South plays an unnecessary high card it confirms that he does hold the J♠.

Therefore when West plays the 6♠ (instead of his 2♠), North may believe South's spades holding is perhaps : ♠ J 7 2.
In that case the 7♠ looks like a confirmation signal and North will be tempted to lead a small at trick 2.
And that is just what Declarer would wish to happen.
(South holds in fact ♠ 9 8 7 instead.)
