- The Modern Jazz Society presents A Concert of Contemporary Music - Mar.'55 (NORGRAN label MGN-1040) John Lewis with Stan Getz, Tony Scott (playing under the name of Anthony Sciacca), J. J. Johnson, Gunther Schuller, Percy Heath, Connie Kay, and Lucky Thompson.
There are only 5 titles on the album, all composed by John Lewis. They are "The Queen's Fancy", "Midsommer", "Sun Dance", "Django", and "Little David's Fugue".

- Third Stream Music - Oct.'56 (Columbia CL941) Lewis composed one piece 'Three Little Feelings' for this ground-breaking recording. The piece was played by
a 30-piece brass orchestra, conducted by Gunther Schuller, and featured
Miles Davis as soloist on flugelhorn. Gunther Schuller, J.J. Johnson, and
others also composed for the project.

- P.O.V. - 1975 (in US : Columbia PC33534, in Australia : CBS #SBP 234763) violin, cello, flute, piano, percussion in a chamber-like setting, originally recorded in 1963.

Fortunato Arico (Cello) Tracks : Mirjana Of My Heart And Soul, Lyonhead, P.O.V., Beach-Head, Nina, Games Lewis plays mostly acoustic piano, but on "Lyonhead" he uses an echo
device.
For the theme statement on "Mirjana" he plays a harpsichord borrowed from
the lady for whom the tune is named
(Mrs. Lewis). The album is essentially a trio album, flute, violin and
cello are there for color and accompaniment.
