In order to play direct finesses from Declarer's hand to Dummy, there must be an entry to Declarer's hand.
This can be the J♠, but only if Dummy's 6♠ is preserverd to lead towards Declarer's Jack.
It is therefore critical that Dummy's K♠ (or Q♠) is thrown under North's A♠.   What happens next ?
