Weak 2-suited hands
- Facts
The Multi-2♦ includes the
Weak Two opening bids of 2♥ and 2♠ plus the strong
2NT (21-22 pts). This makes the 2♥, 2♠ and 2NT bids
available for other use.
- These three Opening bids can be used for weak 5-5+ suited
hands of
- 6-10 HCP : weak in High Card Points
- 6-7 losers : powerful in shape
(in rare cases only 5 losers)
- The Honour cards must be located within
the two long suits.
- Opening bids are as follow :
- 2♥ = Hearts and a minor suit
(♣ or ♦)
- 2♠ = Spades and a minor
suit (♣ and ♦)
- 2NT = Both minors (♣ and ♦) or both
majors (♥ and
♠)
