Himbeertraum Wienerle mit Kartoffelsalat
My firm view is that if you did not have Wienerle mit Kartoffelsalat you have not really been to Germany. This dish I had in Titisee.
Afterwards a couple sitting on the table next to me (Bruno and his wife) persuade me to try the Himbeertraum : a raspberry floating in a potent schnaps, brewed in Southern Tirol or perhaps Northern Italy (so I was told). The bouquet smells delicious of raspberry, but the drink surprisingly is not sweet at all but has a firm 40+% alcohol bite to it.
