Legend has it that once a deer, chased by hunters, jumped across the then only 7 metres wide gap from one side of the Höllenal to the other. On my previous visit two years ago (in 2012), rocks were removed or securely bolted and the deer sculpture was removed and thoroughly cleaned. Now it is back in all its glory on top of the rock. Riding in the train you have only seconds to spot it and take a photograph. |
