Braunlage is a Kuhr Ort in the Harz, Central West Germany, where my mother went in the 30s to some type of "Finishing school" I believe. My father visited and courted her here. Later they returned to Braunlage each year for holidays, staying (like us on our honeymoon) at "Weitmannsheil" or "Weitmannsruh". Antien is sipping the health waters and I read the paper while we listen to the morning concert in the gardens. The anjer flower I give her every morning is lying on her lap.
