Hand beaten gold and silver. Designed by Maud Smit. Hand crafted by Eweg. I purchased all these pieces from my father in 1970. They are in fact only the left overs (depreciated for tax purposes over the years) from a magnificent collection. It featured many still larger pieces including rings, brooches and bracelets with numerous gem stones, hand enameled in a rainbow of colours. The signature piece of the collection was "Het Zeepaardje", an entirely enameled sea horse placed on circles of gold wire with variously coloured gem stones, like water bubbles, surrounding it. The necklace was about 3 inches (7-8 cm) in diameter.
