We celebrate Doug's return from India with my second attempt at Moules Bourguignon. By all accounts quite successful (see Feb.24 for recipe). After eating all the  mussles there was still a lot of the liquid stock left. So Babette boiled  some Japanese somen noodles which we dropped into the bowl with mussles stock, then ate it as a noodle soup. Delicious !
 You can buy the somen noodles in any Woolworth Supermarket (in Australia). Just boil the somen for 2 minutes, then drain them and drop them into the bowl with mussles stock.
