At the J.H.de Vuller School in Gorssel. Standing next to our teacher (Meester van Malen) is Otto van der Mei, son of the then owners of "Hotel the Roskam". His birthday was on January 17, mine on January 15. Both our favourite meal (which we always had at our birthday parties) was Boerenkool met worst. So we always had it twice, one week at my place the next at his parent's Hotel.

Classes of 30 students were quite normal then, no problem at all in fact, providing first class education.
