The small Plaza the Toros of Mijas is unique as it is the only oval shaped (rather than circular) bull fighting ring in Spain. It is very pretty but only hosts bull fights once or twice a year. Part of the open air Auditorium is visible on the right
When I was here in 2007 I used to walk up to this knob every morning or sometimes in the afternoon, and sit in the delightful park with numerous doves flying about. If I felt really enegetic I would climb up the mountain slope above Mijas to a small Chappel. That is where I took this and the previous photo from.
