This is the building of the old Railway station, now used as the front of the Festspielhaus (theatre). The old ticket office ("Fahrkarten") is still being used for theatre ticket sales.
Behind the building, separated by the width of the former platform and single rail line (and covered in glass), is the ultra modern and very tastefully designed real theatre.
