With 22+ points and/or 4 losers or less always open with the forcing to Game Convention bid of 2♣.
The Conventional negative response is 2♦, showing 0-7 points and a virtual sign that Slam is most unlikely and Opener must contend himself with a Game score contract.
In this case however West made a positive response of 2♠, which shows 8+ points and a 5+card spade suit. It is also an immediate sign that Opener should aim for a Slam.
So what does East bid next ?
