| The Mitchell Artesian Spa baths are next to the Maranoa bridge as you enter the town. Temperature of the water averages 37°C (100°F, normal body temperature) and varies between 36° and 38°. A beautiful glass in lead wall surrounds the bath as shown on these images. | ||

The main street in Mitchell features art and magnificent boab trees ("bottle trees"). Boab trees line the streets in several towns in this region including Roma and Blackall. Blackall also has an artesian spa located in its olympic pool complex. |
