Ingredients for Moules Bourguignon

For a meal for two the ingredients are :

  1. 2 to3 kg black shell mussels (not the green NZ variety)
  2. 3 or 4 lemons
  3. quality butter plus virgin olive oil
  4. 2 red onions
  5. 3 garlics
  6. half a bottle of white wine (350ml)
  7. Double thick cream (or triple thick if you can get it)
