For a meal for two the ingredients are : 
- 2 to3 kg black shell mussels (not the green NZ variety)
 - 3 or 4 lemons
 - quality butter plus virgin olive oil
 -  2 red onions
 -  3 garlics
 -  half a bottle of white wine (350ml)
 - Double thick cream (or triple thick if you can get it)
