The hand made iron lettering of the name was taken off the house when we sold it in the 1980s. The driveway in front of the house was a rectangular circuit with rounded corners so that cars could drive up to the house and leave without having to turn around. As children we used it as a race circuit for bicycle races, great fun. We used to go around the corners with the front wheel turning outwards, just like we had seen at the speedway motorbike races.
