Opa Jordaan was a wonderful man, very generous especially to his four grandchildren. He gave Antien and my sister Wivica a holiday in Galicia (visiting me there) in the summer of 1961. He also gave Antien and me a wonderful Engagement party in Cafe Restaurant "De Laatste Stuiver" in Eefde (The Netherlands). A hundred guest attended, we had an 8-piece Jazz Band and also a performance from the renown Gorsselse Boeren Dansers. It was a great party.
