| 1. Create a loop in the main line.

2. Overlap the line at the top of the loop to form a smaller loop above.
|
|
3. Twist the line of the smaller loop 4 times over the larger loop below.
|
|
4. Push the middle section of the larger loop up and through the centre of the smaller loop above.
|
|
5. Lubricate (with saliva) and slowly tighten and lock the knot.
This loop is much better than a 3-way swivel, as the latter often fails under a heavy load.
