| 1. Make an overhand loop near the end of the leader. 
| 5. Pull on the tag end to slide the knot towars the lure.

2. Pass the tag end through the fly or lure. 
| 6. Make another overhand loop using the tag end of the leader.

3. Return the the tag end back through (first under, then over) the original loop. 
| 7. Holding the lure in one hand, pull the tag end to tighten the second knot. Be aware that the point where you tighten this knot will be the size of the final loop.

4. Hold the lure in one hand, the 2 ends of your leader in the other, then pull in opposite directions to tighten the knot 
| 8. Pul on the long end of the leader to slide the first knot against the second knot. This locks the 2 knots together and forms a loop.
