  1. If he takes the ♠ finesse now and it loses to South he will also lose a trick.

  2. But if he plays it safe crossing to Dummy's A♠ so he can discard his 9♦ on Dummy's s♥ it will be ruffed by an Opponent.
    He also will always lose a trick to Opponents' trump K♠.
